This evening I finished the Architecture Workshop at the van Eesteren museum. The workshop was the 1st of it’s kind and was given by architecture photographer Michel Claus. With 2 theory evenings and 1 practise afternoon I think the time was too short to get a firm grip on the subject. Anyway, I’ve uploaded some pics I took during the practise. All pics are editted on the iPad2 with the new Snapseed app. Enjoy!
One of the coolest things I did this year was visiting some abandoned places. Since I live in Amsterdam it’s hard to find places nearby which are worth to visit. I visited an old factory and a former psychiatric hospital.
Shot at the new Central Station Bus Terminal during the 3rd Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk, Amsterdam location. The HDR pictures have been created from 3 RAW files and are processed in Photomatix, Photoshop and Lightroom.
Last Tuesday I went on “Haven Safari” through the harbors of Amsterdam and Zaandam. Saw amazing stuff I never knew about the harbor. We also visited a building on a former military compound, Hembrugterrein, where they used to fabricate and test ammunition. Unfortunately only 1 inside shot because we could only stay here for less than 10 minutes.
